Don't just take our word for it...

To help you decide whether this is the right course for you take a look at our frequently asked questions for more information.

Who is this course for?

Anyone who fulfils the pre-requisites and wishes to teach the 8-week MBSR course. To apply for the MBSRTT Conversion course you must have either completed the IMC teacher training or another regulated mindfulness teacher training course first.

What are the prerequisites for the course?

You need to have attended the 8- week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course and have your own personal mindfulness practice of at least 6 months to apply for this course. We are happy to discuss whether there is a need for this 6-month post-MBSR course period if you already have a long-term mindfulness meditation practice.

How long is the course? Is this course quicker than doing the full MBSRTT course?

The MBSRTT Conversion course is half of the teaching hours but students must complete all the other elements as per the full course.  The whole CPD pathway takes 12 months or more in total.

What does the total cost cover?

The cost covers face to face teaching within your cohort via Zoom. You will receive a student folder that is posted to you and a student handbook, sent electronically. The notes give you all the session programmes, information, teaching tools, poems and exercises to deliver the course in its entirety. You will also be sent the core practice downloads for your own personal use and some pre-reading before the course begins.
