Compassionate Mindful Resilience
What is the CMR Course?
Our unique 4-week CMR course is an introductory course teaching simple, effective, evidence-based practices, skills, and techniques to help manage stress, develop resilience and enhance wellbeing using Mindfulness and Compassion.
Created by Karen Atkinson, Senior Partner and Co-Founder of MindfulnessUK, it is built from the understanding that to help us navigate the world we live in, we need to strengthen our levels of mindfulness, compassion and resilience.
This is a standalone course, which can be good to complete either before or after doing the 8-week MBSR course.

Through her experience and working with a diverse client background (teaching mindfulness and yoga), she became more aware of the pressures we face in today’s world and the impact it has on people’s mental health and wellbeing and it was this insight that led her complete the MBSR, IMC and CMR teacher training courses with MindfulnessUK. As an adoptive Mum to a little girl, Kate knows firsthand the pressures that come with caring for a child with a background in trauma and has experienced compassion fatigue several times.
